According to ESPN sports columnist Pierre LeBrun, "Injuries started from day one and never allowed the Panthers to get their heads above water." 

Meanwhile, the Bruins snag the no 4 spot in the Eastern Conference, with a 26-12-5 record. The team ranks no 6 overall. As LeBrun points out, "Losses to the Islanders and Hurricanes prevented the B's from catching Montreal for first in the division, something so many of us have expected as a done deal before the end of the regular season. You start to ask yourself, will they win the division or not? "

Tonight's face-off should prove an interesting match between one of NHL East's best teams, and one of the league's worst.

Friday evening's hockey game between the Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins was postponed until Saturday following the devastating Boston Marathon bombing explosion on Monday, April 15. A heated manhunt for the suspects pursued on Friday, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev and the arrest of 19-year-old Dzhokar Tsarnaev. #ForBoston and #BostonStrong quickly began trending on social media/networking in honor of the BPD, FBI, and all victims and heroes involved. The Penguins proved victorious 3-2.

The game will be broadcasted live on NHLN or local channels SUN and NESN, but fans can also listen in on the radio at Sports Hub 98.5, ESPN 101.3, and 560 WQAM.
