Heading into the end of Week 3 of the MLB 2013 regular season, ESPN sports analysts predict the season outlook team power rankings. The Yanks currently rank the no 14 overall team. As sports columnist Rob Abruzzese points out, "Not much went right for the Yankees during the first week of the season, but Robinson Cano, Hiroki Kuroda, CC Sabathia and Andy Pettitte each had a big week, reminding everyone that they're not going down so easily."

New York currently holds a 10-6 winning record, having already played the Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, Orioles, and Diamondbacks. The Yanks won Games 1 and 2 against Toronto with scores of 9-4 and 5-3.

The Blue Jays snag the no 17 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Matthias Koster, "An ankle injury will sideline Jose Reyes until the All-Star break. This has reconfigured the Jays' infield, with Jose Bautista shifting over to third base, a committee at shortstop and the possibility of Brett Lawrie seeing time at second base."

After playing the Indians, Red Sox, Tigers, Royals, and White Sox, Toronto has seven wins and 11 losses.
