Angelina Jolie was reportedly interviewed by the FBI inside her rented home in Los Angels in October 18. This interview lasted for four hours and was reported to be about Brad Pitt's behavior inside their private jet on September 14.

A source said that the agents wanted a blow-by-blow account of what exactly happened from the time the plane took off to the time it landed.  The source further revealed that the FBI is looking into possible charges of assault.

Radar Online reported the four-hour investigation and said that Angelina completely cooperated with the FBI.

It was also reported that the FBI are not the only ones investigating Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The Department of Children and Family Services of Los Angeles County were also reported to be looking into abuse allegations. Due to the ongoing allegations, the DCFS has decided to extend the then Hollywood power couple's temporary parenting plan. The plan was actually set to expire October 20.

Under the temporary parenting plan, all of their six children will continue to live with their mother while their dad will be allowed to visit. Brad Pitt was said to be seeking joint physical custody of his children.  A source said that Pitt is holding off on responding to the divorce petition to avoid facing Jolie in court.

US Weekly further reported that the investigation would likely continue till next year. This is because of statements gathered from witnesses at the tarmac; this included crew from Nice, France to Burbank, California.

As soon as the investigations are done, the agents will present the case to the prosecutor and this will be evaluated whether a case could be brought against Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie filed for a divorce from Brad Pitt on September 21 and cited "irreconcilable differences." The "Maleficent" actress said that Pitt became verbally and physically abusive with his son Maddox during the flight.  The actor's camp denies all the allegations.
