Mama Mia! They're at it again! Legendary Swedish Pop group ABBA will be reuniting for a performance soon. Considering that it has been since 1982 since they last performed together, this new performance has a twist that will be quite surprising for most of the ABBA fans. ABBA is going digital.

According to Out, ABBA is planning to reunite through a virtual reality experience by 2018. Simon Fuller, the creator of American Idol, and Universal Music Group will be collaborating to make this event possible. This virtual experience may feature "hyper-realistic digital humans". This kind of experience has been very possible through some concerts as well.

Björn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Fältskog, Frida Lyngstad, and Benny Andersson are the members of ABBA and they have been involved in the process of making the digital concert. They mentioned that what inspired them to execute the virtual concert is the fact that it can create infinite possibilities. They are also thinking that it's possible to present it in a way that the audience will experience ABBA from who they were and as time passed by.

According to Sky News, earlier this year, the band did get back together and did some interesting things. They opened a restaurant that pays homage to what ABBA is. Last June as well, they performed an impromptu concert to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

ABBA's music will always be a staple in the minds of many. Great hits like Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Mama Mia, The Winner Takes all and Money Money. And experiencing this classic hits virtually is such a mind blowing idea. More details about it will be out by 2017 as ABBA conceptualises more about the upcoming virtual concert. ABBA has been long awaited to play their hits once again, and it's a joy to know for most fans that they are also getting with the times and play the concert in a very modern yet nostalgic way.
