Recent reports claim that Bruno Mars and producer Mark Ronson is accused of copying significant portions of Collage, which is now said to be in Bruno Mars' s smash hit 'Uptown Funk.'

As reported by Metro, the pair will be facing a lawsuit for copyright infringement for allegedly using some significant parts of Collage's rhythm, harmony, melody as well as structure of 1983 single from Young Girls. Furthermore, it includes some distinct funky with specifically noted and timed consistent tunes and guitar riffs which are present throughout the compositions. Meanwhile, it is said that Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's inspiration of the Minneapolis electro-funk soul scene which Young Girls were part of which push Bruno and Mark to put on the 'Uptown Funk.'

However, Bruno and Mark's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comments regarding the allegations, according to Rolling Stone. Consequently, Collage is seeking unspecified damages and profits for settlement.

'Uptown Funk' became a hit as it arrived in November 2014, with its retro-sounding and style. Since then, Bruno and Mark have been battling severe accusations of copyright infringement regarding the song, which also includes the threat from Sequel.

Sequel claimed that Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's single 'Uptown Funk' was copied from their 1979 original song 'Funk You Up.' Consequently, the accusation was settled privately between Sequel and Bruno Mars together with Mark Ronson.

After a year of smashing the music industry, 'Uptown Funk' still belongs to the top of the Hot 100, on top of that, another claim from the group Gap Band was put forth by publisher Minder Music. Meanwhile, the claim was never brought into court, and the Gap Band was contented that 'Uptown Funk'only shared similarities with 'Oops!Upside Your Head."

To settle the issue, all Gap Band's members including Charlie, Ronnie, and Robert Wilson as well as two band members were added as 'Uptown Funk' songwriters. Eventually, after another year, this new claim for the unoriginality of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' adds to the issue, which also makes the song trending until now.
