The recent rape charges filed against former Glee star Mark Salling has been dropped by the L.A District Attorney.

The rejection of Mark's rape case didn't really clear up whether or not Salling was perceived guilty or innocent. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the allegation began when a 22-tear-old unnamed woman claimed that Mark Salling forced himself upon her in 2012.  The woman claimed that she was a virgin when Salling forced sex on her. The woman said that she told Mark "I don't know if I can do this," but eventually overpowered her by getting her drunk with alcohol.

Furthermore, the woman claimed that she blacked out during the rape. She regained consciousness beside Mark who was also asleep beside her. The woman also claimed that she gave repeated pleas to stop but Salling ignored them. The next morning, she claimed that Salling asked to have sex again but the woman gave her consent.

Reports say that the court dismissed the case due to complication of admission to the consensual intercourse after that rape accusation. According to Parent Herald, if more evidence were to be obtained the case may be reopened. Mark Salling may have dodged this bullet but isn't so lucky with his other case that involved his being arrested due to child pornography charges, when police reported that Salling stored thousands of pornographic images of children in a hard drive.

Salling was charged on two counts back in May, each carried a penalty of 20 years in prison sentence.

The former Glee actor is currently out for a bail of $20,000.
