“The Blacklist” Season 4 Episode 8: Liz’s real father to be revealed in mid-season finale

"The Blacklist" season 4 episode 8 will surely be full of plot twists and turns as this episode marks its midseason break. The episode entitled 'Dr. Adrian Shaw: Conclusion' will finally reveal who Liz Keen's father is after she finds out that Kirk is not her real father.

According to GameNGuide, episode 8 will be an episode to remember. Liz, played by Megan Boone, will find herself in a rut as she deals with Kirk's, played by Ulrich Thomsen, real identity. In the previous episodes, she has found out that Kirk is very manipulative and dangerous however she still believes that he is her real father.

It will look like Kirk will be in a really bad shape during the initial part of the episode but he will still be alive and dangerous. There is also a rumor that Kirk could die in this episode as "The Blacklist" has a long standing reputation of killing its villains after ten episodes. His death could become the highlight of this midseason episode.

Meanwhile, Melty just can't help speculate as to who Liz's father is. According to the site, Liz may be conceived by an affair between Katarina and Reddington and this could be revealed in this episode. The report also mentioned that this idea has been teased in an official trailer released by NBC. The trailer said: "Red pressures Dr. Shaw to locate a former patient. Liz contemplates the implications of her ties to an increasingly desperate and dangerous Alexander Kirk. Mr. Kaplan comes to a critical realization about her future."

Followers of the show have been looking forward to knowing who Liz' father is and if this is really Reddington. In the episode, instead of following Reddington, Liz stays at the hospital to make sure Kirk does not leave. Meanwhile, Agnes is safely away from the hospital but it looks like Reddington is planning on offering his life to trade with Liz.
