"The Big Bang Theory" creators are giving fans and viewers more reasons to love the CBS series. Creators Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady together with showrunner Steve Molaro will oversee a spinoff series based on the life of genius boy Sheldon Cooper. The series will focus on the adventures of Jim Parsons' character, his life as a young boy growing up in Texas. None of the cast of "The Big Bang Theory" will be involved in the project.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed this news on their site saying that producers of "The Big Bang Theory" Warner Bros. Television have declined to comment on the new series. However there are a few things revealed about the spinoff that is known. First, the Sheldon series is associated with a sizeable penalty c/o CBS and it will also be a single-camera comedy show comparable to "Malcolm in the Middle."

Screen Rant on the other hand said that Steve Molaro will write the script for the series which has been appropriately named "Sheldon." The report mentioned that it will re-examine Sheldon's life and will pick from information that was already available from TBBT.

Sheldon Cooper has a fraternal twin sister Missy and a devout Christian mom named Mary. Other significant people in young Sheldon's life could also appear in the show such as his favorite grandmother Mee-maw, his absentee father and his older brother George.

Producers are looking into starting "Sheldon" next season and will co-exist with "The Big Bang Theory." TBBT is currently in its 10th season and there is no news yet if the show would renew for season 11.

Steve Molaro and producers of "The Big Bang Theory" once said that they could never imagine taking part of the show and making a spinoff. They described TBBT as a single piece in 2013. However, thoughts of a spinoff lingered; Prady once joked that he would want to do one with Stuart, the comic book store guy, as the main character.

"The Big Bang Theory" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
