Marion Cotillard reveals the ‘Awkward’ truth behind sex scene with Brad Pitt in ‘Allied’

Actors seemed to show sex scenes in movies to be easy but Marion Cotillard revealed that it is not as easy as it looks. The 41-year old French actress talked about her sex scene with "Allied" co-actor Brad Pitt and described it as "awkward".

"Allied" is a movie distributed by Paramount Pictures whose story is about a Canadian intelligence officer Max Vatan (Brad Pitt) who met French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard) on a secret mission behind enemy lines.

The couple reunites in London, got married and eventually had a child together. Their relationship became tested when Vatan was informed of a possibility that Beausejour          may be a double agent working for the Germans.

He was ordered to kill Beausejour or be executed for failing to follow the order which put him in considerable pressure. Vatan believes that his wife is innocent and set off to clear her name which puts him in a very dangerous position.

Us Weekly reported that at one scene in the movie, the pair will get cozy and busy at the back of a car during a sandstorm. The scene may look hot and believable but Cotillard said that they practiced the scene and had a very determined choreography.

It took the on screen couple a lot of practice to make it look natural. "When you know exactly what your body will do, then you can act and you can be free to give the emotions and give the feelings because you won't think, 'What am I going to do next? Am I going to go on top of him?' It's an awkward situation," the actress told the reporters during a press conference on November 13.

Cotillard added that they found the scene weird but just laughed it off. The actress also helped Pitt in learning her native tongue as his role requires him to speak a bit of French.

Mirror reported that Cotillard thought of Pitt to be a good man and is not difficult to get along with. Her defense of the actor came after Pitt was cleared of child abuse allegations on his 15-year old son Maddox.

Allegations that Pitt strike his son on board a private jet while drunk in September, made the headlines. Last week's movie premiere was Pitt's first public appearance after having split with wife Angelina Jolie.

In the first few days of the BradGelina split, Cotillard had been linked to the star couple's divorce. She gave a statement via an Instagram post that her partner, and father of her son and would be child, is her love, bestfriend and the only one she needs.
