Mario Chalmers is still recovering from a season-ending tear of his Achilles tendon and there are already talks about his return this December. The point guard is rumored to return to the court but not under the Memphis Grizzlies franchise. His comeback will be under the Cleveland Cavaliers together with his former teammate LeBron James.

GameNGuide reported that Chalmers is nearly recovering from his injury and he is scheduled to return early December. And because of his championship experience for the Miami Heat, a number of teams are interested in acquiring the superstar.

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost Mathew Delavedova who recently signed up for the Milwaukee Bucks. Tiring point guard duties were shared by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving because of Delavedova's absence. Adding Chalmers to their roster would improve LeBron's performance since he will surely get support from his former teammate. Furthermore, Chalmers may also be able to lure James Jones and Mike Miller to team up with him.

Meanwhile, Associated Press also reported Mario Chalmers' recovery saying that the point guard is soon to be cleared for a full on-court activity this week. This is exactly eight months after he had his unfortunate accident. The AP report said that Chalmers claimed he can pretty much do anything and has been busy for the last two to three months on court practicing. He added that he was back to running and jumping on court.

Chalmers has never lost his positive attitude and the confidence in his talent despite his injury. He said that the only thing that he regrets was his performance in the Finals saying that he wants to change this if he gets the opportunity to do so.

Reports say that if Chalmers joins the Cavaliers, this could be a chance to boost their stakes for the 2016-2017 NBA season. A deal could take place before trade deadline or as early as December after Mario Chalmers receives the green light to play for the league.

Chalmers had a winning performance before he suffered from a season-ending injury during the finals. He averaged 10.8 points per game with 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds.
