Lady Gaga Hugs 'Biggest Rockstar of the Night' Selena Gomez: Posts Viral Pic on Instagram

It was the night the "Biggest Rockstar" as Selena Gomez revealed her struggles that caused her absence in the industry for several months. The singer gave a heart-breaking speech at the 2016 American Music Awards show as she accepted the award for Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist. Lady Gaga took to Instagram what she felt about Selena and posted a picture of them in a sweet embrace backstage.

Lady Gaga captioned the beautiful photo with "So dope I got to hang with the biggest rockstar of the night (Ya, know besides Sting and Green Day)..."

"The American Horror Story" star said that Gomez has the best prize which is her huge heart which she willingly shares with everyone.

Billboard reported this special moment at the AMAs. Selena Gomez said in her speech that she had everything but she still felt broken. She also shared that she can't stop people from learning about her life and so she had to stop. "And I kept it together and I swore I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down."

She also said that she is not looking for validation from anyone. Her awesome speech drew a resounding applause and loud cheers from the audience. The camera caught Lady Gaga looking tearful as she reacted to what Gomez just said. Along with Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez's friends and co-performers congratulated and cheered her on social media.

ET Online posted a few heart-warming wishes for Gomez via Instagram and Twitter. Taylor Swift reported her reaction via social media and then left a short but sweet message for her squad member on Instagram saying "baby."

Camila Cabello from Fifth Harmony said "I love you" to Gomez via Twitter.

Colton Haynes cheered Gomez for her decision via Twitter saying: "Sending the biggest hug in the world to @selenagomez for speaking about how important it is to take care of your mental health." This message was posted along with clapping emoticons and a kiss.

Alexandra Raisman congratulated the singer saying: "Amazing!!! @selenagomez looking so effortlessly beautiful. Love the message. Congrats, well deserved" ending the message with a red heart.

Horan was seen walking up to Selena Gomez as she headed to her seat after the award. He gave her a hug and said, "You did so good!" Meanwhile, Ariana Grande went to Gomez's seat congratulated her. Ariana won Artist of the Year.
