7-year-old fan with leukemia melts NBA star Stephen Curry's heart exchanges jersey

Stephen Curry is not only known on the floor for basketball, it appears that the NBA star has a kind nature as well. He utilized his day off to meet a young fan who is diagnosed withleukemia.

Brody Stephens is fighting Leukemia for the second time; the 7-year-old kind who is a fan of Stephen had passed through an acute myeloid leukemia when he was just 18 months. The tragic news came back in December, 2015 and he was re-diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Brody is a huge fan of basketball and football and it was one of his dreams to meet Stephen, and thanks to the NBA star his wish was granted as per the People.

Stephen visited him at the Riley Hospital for children as they exchanged autographed jerseys and spent an hour together. Stephen stated that he part was easy to show up and getting to know Brody. As for Brody he has gone through very tough times in his life battling with Leukemia.

At that moment when Stephen spent time with the little boy it seemed that everything had been forgotten for a while, and everybody including his brothers, parents and even the nurses knew that it was Brody's wish to meet Stephen.

Brody himself has been a basketball star before he fell ill, he has been playing on travel teams when he was in kindergarten reported the Charlotte Observer.

Stephen showed him all of his NBA trading cards and further posed for a picture with the signed jersey, the little star was certainly shocked with the Golden State Warriors visit. He also introduced him to the coach Steve Kerr who had come along. The two were in town for the match against Indiana pacers.

Brody's father took to Twitter and tweeted "Look who traded autographed jerseys today!! Unbelievable moment"

Brody has a fundraising site and he stated on the hospital blog that his experience with Stephen was just amazing. Everyone hopes that everything goes well for Brody.
