It has been quite the year for pop star Justin Bieber. Not only has he royally slayed the charts with his recent "Purpose" album, invented a totally new clothing line called Purpose Tour Merchandise that has been termed as a fashion style and ricocheted off his Purpose tour with energy and charisma, there's been a downside!

Justin has not been as nice and courteous with fans like he used to back in 2011-2013. This year was all about him recognizing his worth and creating boundaries between himself and crazy fans'.

No longer wanting to be dealt with like "an animal" (as he quotes) Bieber has now quit taking pictures with fans and terminated his tour's M&Gs. The only time he does take pictures with his supporters is when he feels like it.

Concerning that, the "Sorry" hit maker who was being escorted to perform a concert at the Palau Sant Jordi, attacked a male fan. As he slowly drove his car by the crowd of fans, one got too close to his vehicle and received a punch in the face.

Although the male fan meant no harm, the 22-year old crooner lashed back a bit too harshly. Some sources state that the fan was a minor and after withdrawing from the car's window, stumbling a little bit, he realized the blood on his face.

He retreated back a bit and touched his lips gingerly before exclaiming in Spanish "He has just punched me"! He followed that statement up by "I touched his face like this and he went, 'Boom'."

Some may say that the fan was mistaken to invade the singer's personal space and outrageously touch his face and others state that Bieber was being downright rude. But, frankly what would you do if someone touched your face out of nowhere?

Lucky for the Biebs, police officials will not be investigating this matter as it is entirely up to the victim to file formal complaints. The minor told Mossos d'Esquadra officers that he wasn't sure whether to report his idol or not.

An office from the Mossos d'Esquadra reported; "What's occurred here is what would be considered a misdemeanor not a crime. For a crime of assault, the victim must have needed medical attention more than once."

Bieber might have gotten lucky this one time but he might want to watch where he lands his blows next time.
