After the unexpected Kingsman: The Secret Service movie to be a hit on 2014, the film was quickly lined up to have a sequel entitled, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The movies have been based on the comic book series, The Secret Service by Dave Gibbons and Mark Miller. But fans of the R-rated PG-13 superhero surely feel disappointed as they gonna have to wait another couple of months before the sequel arrives.
A bit sad news for those who have been patiently waiting for the 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle to arrive at the movie screen in the upcoming summer 2017. Apparently, the movie is much likely to have a delay and sudden shift of schedules. The project management team has announced the arrival of the sequel movie would be June 16, 2017. According to Comic Book, an official tweeter account of Boxoffice has tweeted "Fox has moved Alien Covenant to May 9,2017 and Kingsman: The Golden Circle to October 6,2017.'
Speculations are rife saying that the schedule of the release date of the movie has been moved due to a lot of movies that are also set to be released on the said month. The report suggests that the movie does not want to have any competition as there are a lot of big movie coming out in June. They wanted the movie to be a big hit just like the first sequel was.
The Kingsman: The Golden Circle will go against with long-awaited movie, Blade Runner 2049 of Denis Villeneuve and My Little Pony: The Movie. In the sequel, fans will see Taron Egerton's Eggsy, Sophie Cookson's Roxy, and Mark Strong's Merlin. The movie's main opponent includes; Channing Tatum, Pero Pascal, Halle Berry and Jeff Bridges. A special appearance by Elton and Vinnie Jones was also teased, Cinema Blend has reported.
The second installment of the movie is set to see Eggsy as he teams up with an American agency Stateman just to save the world from their latest threat.
The Kingsman: The Golder Circle premieres in theaters on October 6,2017.
