The highly-publicized Travis Alexander murder trial involving ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias continues on Tuesday, April 23 at 12:30 p.m. Continue reading to check out a LIVE STREAM from the courtroom and for more information regarding the case.

Arias is currently being tried in the 2008 murder of former lover Travis Alexander, who was found dead in his Arizona home with 29 brutal stab wounds, a slit throat, and a shot to the head. The trial (which began in early January 2013) has captured the media's attention with its many bizzarre twists and turns. The state contends that Arias killed her 30-year-old ex-boyfriend in June 2008. Her defense attorneys contend that Arias was physically and emotionally battered by Alexander and feared for her life when she killed him.

On Monday (after already resting their 38-day case), Arias' defense team filed a motion, asking the judge to allow one more expert witness to rebut the prosecution's expert witness (a psychologist who diagnosed the accused killer with borderline personality disorder).

If convicted, Arias (who has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder) could face a possible death sentence.

The judge called a recess earlier this afternoon, the trial is set to resume on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. ET. For great up-to-date courtroom coverage, check out Huffington Post's live timeline of events.
