A teaser clip has been released leading up to DC's Invasion! crossover TV Event. Using the found footage format, the clip introduces the audience to the threat that the combined force will be facing.

Set in the 1940's the video shows some soldiers fighting on what appears to be a losing battle against the invading aliens. One by one the bodies fall, and so does the camera. The clip ends with one of the aliens moving toward the camera, giving the viewers a good look at the invaders, sharp teeth and all. The video is connected to the show DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

In The CW's annual special dubbed "Heroes vs Aliens", Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Flash (Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (Stephen Arnell), and the Legends of Tomorrow will be teaming up to ward off the invasion of the alien group known as the Dominators. With the ability to control minds, it is possible to see the heroes facing each other to help the invader's cause.

According to Comic Book, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim stated that they have used state of the art prosthetics and computer effects to bring a faithful recreation of the aliens, based on how they were designed by artist Todd McFarlane (Spawn).

They also add that the plot would be similar to how it played in the Invasion! comic book arc. In the comics, the Dominators plan on wiping out Earth of its metahuman community, as it is a threat to them. Not wanting to wait for their death, the heroes go up against the aliens in an all-out battle.

Slash Film reports that the event will cover all four shows, with the end of the Supergirl episode triggering the events of the crossover. The next three shows (Flash, Arrow and Legends) will tell the story in a three-episode event.

Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs from Monday to Thursday, 8pm ET at The CW.
