Listen up, 1D groupies! If you ever found yourself wanting to ride in the Mystery Machine while watching re-runs of Scooby Doo, now might be your chance. Harry Styles and the rest of those meddling kids in One Direction are pimping out an old VW bus for their US tour, turning into a replica of Mystery Inc.'s iconic wheels.

Harry, Niall, Zayn, Liam and Louis are dropping 70,000 pounds (that's over 100 thousand God-fearing, American dollars) to retrofit the van with the blue and green paint scheme, a 1D logo, giant plasma screens and entertainment consoles. That sure beats sitting on the bare floor of the cargo area like Shag and Scoob.

They aren't the first British boy band to insist on some weird wheels. The Beatles famously traveled by Magical Mystery Tour bus to promote the 1967 record and television film.

An inside source told The Mirror that "the boys love cartoons and Scooby Doo is a cult classic. They wanted to do something special ahead of their US tour and decided to get a bespoke tour bus created."

Apparently, the boys of One Direction can't wait to get their new ride.

"The guys are desperate to have it shipped over to America so it can join them on tour," the source said. "Scooby's obviously a US import and massive out there so they know the van will be a hit with both the fans - and their mums."

The interesting ride won't be available for another six weeks. After that, 1D will use it to travel the US, cost permitting.

"If management decide it's too expensive and impractical then they'll simply keep it as a fun vehicle for travelling from city to city over here," the source said.

What do you think? Are you excited to see One Direction travel the US in a Scooby Doo style Mystery Machine? Will Harry Styles and Co. be able to handle such close quarters?
