Games developers are working like crazy to make games available for the holiday season. With a lot of new releases, there would be a game suitable for most types of gamers.

Starting off with the Nintendo 3DS, a port of the Wii-U's Super Mario Maker will be released on December 2nd. Retaining most of its content, like making stages from different Mario games and playing them, it loses the feature of online sharing. It does, however, allow players to share and work together on stages using the handheld's Street Pass feature.

Moving on to another classic franchise, the fifteenth installment of Square Enix' Final Fantasy is hitting the shelves on November 29th. Taking 10 years from its initial announcement as part of Fabula Nova Crystallis for the Playstation 3 in 2006, the game follows protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum, heir to the Lucian throne of the Lucis Kingdom, and his team as he defends the last crystal against the Niflheim Empire. Released for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, players travel on the world of Eos, which is a mix of a modern world and a mystical one. The game also features staple Final Fantasy fare, like summons and Chocobos.

Set in the Alps and Alaska, Steep allows players to experience a plethora of altitude sports. Available for the PS4 and Xbox One on December 2nd, the game features sports like paragliding, snowboarding and skiing, among others. It also has online connectivity, allowing players from all over share and compete in the various events the game has.

As for the mobile market, the game Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will be available for the iOS on December 1st, while Android users will have it on December 8th, according to IGN. Staying true to its predecessor Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, the new protagonist, will be interviewing witnesses, gather evidence and check crime scenes to secure a verdict.

The PC will be getting another interesting game in the form of Maize. Set for a December 1st release, this first-person adventure title explores the thought of creating sentient corn. And as GameSpot puts it, that last statement is the game's least ridiculous aspect.

The Dwarves, another title for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, will be arriving at stores on November 29th. Based on the Markus Heitz novel of the same name, the fantasy role-playing game features 15 playable characters, each with unique skills that the player has to carefully use. Players would face hordes of different enemies, ranging from orcs to zombies anything in between, in real-time strategy battles.

Many more games are expected to come out before the year ends. For the meantime, these titles would certainly be time well spent for gamers.
