Technology is progressing in an exponential pace. It was that long ago when the Virtual Reality was unveiled and soon after, the Augmented Reality became possible. Google is working on their hi-tech Tango Technology for Augmented Reality which is now on its early phase.

The first ever smartphone to get Google's Tango technology was Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. In an event in Chicago, Aymar de Lencquesaing - Motorola Mobility President addressed the reporters with his statement that It is more likely that Motorola Z platform might have a Tango module. President de Lencquesaing said, "Augmented reality on a phone is a technology that's likely to stick" according to Engadget.

Google introduced Tango Technology during the Google I/O 2016 which is completely different from what Virtual Reality offers. Google also posted a video on YouTube titled "Say Hello to Project Tango" showing what Tango can do.

Google Tango Technology works with GPS and sets of sensors and cameras in-sync. Although it is now on its development stage, it offers completely new perspective towards Augmented Reality. With cameras and depth sensors, Google Tango locates place using GPS and prepares a 3-D map that can surprise its users. As soon as the prototype becomes available, Google will hand over the Beta version to the developers for them to fix possible deficiencies. There has not been any confirmation on Tango being used in Moto Z, however, consideration might not surprise people as Motorola has always been Google's partner even before.

Moto series smartphones possess a consistently slim body in all of its platforms but Motorola must have been churn out the way to offload the extra camera and then add external batteries to power the device. It is no secret that Motorola Z series can handle Android versions efficiently and it is more functional than the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro which is an advantage for Moto devices.

Google earlier said that Tango will soon be available in most of the smartphones in the market for all consumers to experience what Augmented Reality can do.
