"Fifth Harmony" member Camilla Cabello has officially left as revealed in the girl group's social media page.

Despite this sudden setback, "Fifth Harmony" guaranteed their fans that they will continue as a four-piece after they finished packing up from their recent tour and will be concentrating on a follow-up to their smash album 7/27 this 2017, according to Rolling Stone.

Below is a portion of the statement from Fifth Harmony's management as mentioned on the website:

"After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well. We are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us - Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui - for our fans. We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony, as well as our solo endeavors."

Music aside, there were already indications that could have triggered the departure of the 19-year-old Cuban-American singer. Midway through a concert in St. Louis, Missouri this year, Cabello left the stage due to an anxiety attack while performing in which she explained on a Snapchat video. She, however, returned on stage for Fifth Harmony's Dallas presentation, according to Teen Vogue.

Fifth Harmony was conceived in 2012 after the members of the group were rounded up by Simon Cowell courtesy of the U.S. version of "The X-Factor." The group then made two albums via "Reflection" in which contained the hit "Worth It" and "7/27" with another hit titled "Work From Home." Both albums were released in 2015.

However, Cabello who had gained backlash from Fifth Harmony fans on social media was quick to make her own statement that the management had lied on her departure and that it was already planned, according to Yahoo.

She accused her former group mates of lying and was totally disheartened of how the management handled her departure, saying that they have long discussed her future plans.
