Prince Harry has suggested young people to "lift their heads" from using Smartphones to improve the mental side of their health.

The Prince stated that people no longer talk about their problems and feelings, instead choosing to spend their quality time on social media, which eventually prevents them from sharing their life's difficulties.

Meanwhile, Dutchess Kate Middleton suggested that "laughing out loud" or "going for a long walk" as everyday tips for helping cope with mental health problems.

They spent their time yesterday at a Christmas party for mental health charities including Heads together, the umbrella group founded by them.

Prince Harry sat to chat about suicide led by Ged Flynn and Heather Dickenson of the suicide prevention charity Papyrus, in which they discussed ways of getting young people to open up about having suicidal thoughts.

After that, the Prince had a talk with Mr. Flynn, chief executive of the charity, who said, "I sometimes use the phrase 'may your life be as happy as social media pretends it is', because there is a veneer, a pretend life going on for a lot of young people."

Flynn further reveals that suicide is the leading cause of death among the young people, with 1,600 under the age of 35 each year commit suicide.

He further stated that "If it was a disease that was causing all of these deaths there would be an outcry - if one person catches ebola it is all over the news -  but suicide doesn't get mentioned very much."

Prince Harry appeared in a reflective mood as he joined his brother and sister-in-law a day after he waved off his girlfriend Meghan Markle, who is reported to spend her Christmas time in the US.

Claire McCann, who is the counselor at London schools for charity Place2Be, reveal that Prince Harry was very passionate to improve the country's mental health and breaking down on the reasons that are causing this.

The Royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton along with Prince Harry also helped the charity in decorating the Christmas tree baubles and to make paper chains with positive messages written on them.

The Duke wrote "give time to one another" while the Duchess, who was wearing a dress by Vanessa Seward, wrote "laugh out loud" and "go for a long walk".
