Warner Bros. Pictures UK and Lionsgate has made public the second trailer for Keannu Reeves' John Wick: Chapter 2.

This new footage expands more of the story's narrative that triggered Reeves' character to return to his old hard-luck hitman killing spree this time around in Rome, but it also offers a pretty impressive taste of how the sequel plans to up the ante on action the second time around with our avenging hero having a bounty in his head, according to Slate Magazine.

Keanu Reeves re-established himself as an action hero in 2014's surprise hit John Wick, and after the second trailer of John Wick: Chapter 2, the impressive body count of kills as he fends off several gunmen will further cement Reeves into that superstar status. This will also be a reunion of sorts for Reeves and Laurence Fishburne who he co-starred with in the "Matrix" franchise.

"Whoever comes, I'll kill them," Reeves earnestly promised in the video. "I'll kill them all."

The first outing was all about a whirlwind type of vengeance as Reeves bulldozed his way against New York's infamous mafia syndicate, fully triggered by the death of his canine companion. In this new outing though, a new little pooch will tag alongside Reeves. Will this lovable sidekick make fans be in a state of edginess in whether or not it will still be alive up to the film's end credits?

According to IGN, Reeves was all enthusiastic in returning for the movie.

"I really liked putting this suit back on and doing what John Wick gets to do," said Reeves at the New York Comic-Con Lionsgate panel, where the trailer was first revealed. "He's a guy that's really fighting to be free."

Derek Kolstad who headed the screenwriting duties of John Wick also revealed to the website that the sequel took off prior to the events a week after the first film. This time a blood oath has to be repaid, the problem is John Wick is the one on the receiving end to cash-in the payment.
