Nexus 6P users are facing battery issues in their Smartphone. Google, the tech giant has not brought any fixes to solve it. The users are reportedly waiting for a fix as the Google forum is found with many numbers of complaints on the same.

According to Gadgets NDTV, Nexus 6P users raised the complaints early last month which were due to battery problems. The issue is such that the device turns off despite the battery has 15 percent charge available and the device is shutting down unexpectedly after updating to Google's newest OS release Android 7.0 Nougat.

One user complained, "One evening I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours for a multiple vehicle crash. I had over 50 percent battery left and when I tried to call my family and let them know I'm stuck and wasn't involved in the crash the phone died,"

Other user complained "The phone flashes orange to go into battery saving mode and shuts down concurrently," and "The phone won't turn back on without charging. When on charge and powered back on the battery will show as being at least 15% full."

It is also reported that few users have also started bringing down the OS version to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but the issue was found to be unsolved and it was seen that battery started dying at levels lower than that in the case of Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to Tech Times, it is reported that the battery issue in the Nexus 6P is inconsistent. The device turns off even when the battery has around 20 percent charge and sometimes it was seen that the phone uses its entire power reserve without turning itself off. The issue on Nexus 6P smartphones has already been posted in Google's Issue Tracker but currently holds a priority of "small" on the website. As per the report, few users complained that the battery died at battery levels as high as 60 percent.
