It's Christmas time but not a reason enough for the NBA trade mill to stop buzzing. If latest rumors are to be believed, Indiana Pacers' Paul George is one of the most eyed player this season.

Rumor about George's trade is not being heard for the first time now and the 50-50 show of the talented man's team this NBA season (15 wins and as many losses) has made him an all the more premium target of many other teams.

The Pacers haven't really delivered as per the expectations in the Eastern Conference (they are ranked sixth at the moment) and all the good form of George, the 26-year-old small forward from California, has not helped his team much. But the Pacers appears to be against trading the star player, something that Adrian Wojnarowski of 'The Vertical' clarified in a recent podcast.

The Pacers said there is no possibility of them parting ways with George, who have been with them since 2010.

One of the teams which was linked to a probable trade with George is the Los Angeles Lakers who were thought to be considering trading the Pacers' star with their talented Brandon Ingram and D'Angelo Russell. But it remained a rumor as the Pacers have remained firm on their stand of not trading George and rather use him in building their unit for the future.

The Pacers have undergone some overhauling the previous season, including changing their coach, and that could be one reason why they are not ready to trade George without seeing the results of that reshuffle. Of the changes that the Pacers made were: trading George Hill to Utah Jazz and bringing in the likes of Jeff Teague (from Atlanta Hawks) and Thaddeus Young (Brooklyn Nets). Nate McMillan was also signed as the new head coach and it is understandable if the team management gives its players some time to see the outcome.
