Obama explained how he and first lady, Michelle plan to keep their daughter from getting tattoos on the "Today" show this morning.

"As Sasha and Malia Obama get older, they are going to start making decisions of their own behalf, of course. They've still got to respect their parents decisions though, and knowing that your parents are the President and First Lady of the United States could makes things a little tougher," wrote the Examiner.

"What we've said to the girls is, 'If you guys ever decided you're going to get a tattoo, then mommy and me will get the exact same tattoo in the same place. And we'll go on YouTube and show it off as a family tattoo,'" Obama said on the show, according to The Washington Post. "And our thinking is that might dissuade them from thinking that somehow that's a good way to rebel."

That's kind of an unusual approach a childs rebellion, to threaten to rebel with them. Then again, things tend to be a little different in the Obama household in general.

In an interview with WCAX on Thurdsay, Michelle Obama slipped and referred to herself as a 'singer mother,' before she caught herself and made a correction, according to The Washington Post.  "Believe me, as a busy single mother - or, I shouldn't say 'single' - as a busy mother... You know, when you've got the husband who's president, it can feel a little single, but he's there," she laughed at her mistake.

"You know, as somebody who has stumbled over my lines many times, I tend to cut my wife or anybody some slack when it comes to just a slip to the tongue," the president said in response to his wife's slip-of-the-tongue, according to The Washington Post. "But there's no doubt that there've been times where Michelle probably felt like a single mom."
