Heading into mid-Week 4 of the MLB 2013 regular season, ESPN sports analysts predict the season outlook team power rankings. The Yanks currently rank the no 12 overall team. As sports columnist David Schoenfield points out, "Travis Hafner, Vernon Wells and Robinson Cano have five home runs apiece as the Yankees have outhomered their opponents 27 to 14. Must be the magic of the pinstripes."

New York currently holds a 11-8 winning record, having already played the Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, Orioles, Diamondbacks, and Blue Jays. The Yanks won Game 2 against the Rays with a score of 4-3.

The Rays snag the no 17 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Tommy Rancel, "Evan Longoria might be the league's most important player. He has reached base in all 18 games this season and has four home runs over the last week. The Rays, as a team, have hit 13 home runs in their last seven games after belting just four bombs in their first 11 contests."  

After playing the Orioles (twice), Indians, Rangers, Red Sox, and Athletics, Tampa Bay has nine wins and 11 losses.

The ball game will be broadcasted live on YES and SNET, but fans can listen in on the radio at CBS, ESPN NY, WWCN, and 1080 The Team.
