Game of Thrones' star-crossed lovers Samwell Tarly and Gilly are placed on the spotlight courtesy of the HBO series on-set photographs which the network had revealed.

SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT CONTINUE READING if you don't want to know about the upcoming Season 7 of Game of Thrones!

The former black brother Tarley (portrayed by John Bardley-West) and wildling Gilly (portrayed by Hannah Murray) are shown in the photo along with an unclear number of supporting cast hurrying to move to one place to another, according to Watchers on the Wall.

News to where both are heading are tight-lipped as they are seemed to be accompanied by extras wearing clothing from the Free City of Bravos. Previously in Season 6, Sam was scorned by his father when he made it public that he wanted to train as a Maester at The Citadel. His partner, Gilly came into his defense as Sam decided to leave without any announcement to his family, taking little Sam along with them plus the infamous sword, Heartsbane. They then both arrived at Oldtown, wherein Sam was given the chance to use the library facilities after much pleading.

Bradley also admitted, according to Winter is Coming, that for this final season a lot of loose ends will finally be answered as the finale will be a real game changer.

"We don't know if it's an indictment of how bad people can triumph if good men do nothing or a redemptive story about good triumphing over evil. We just don't know, so that mystery has fed into everything we've done so far," Bradley vaguely explained to the website.

As already known, Season 7 will have only seven episodes with the succeeding season shorter, but apparently, every fragment of the finale will be jam-packed with surprises.
