One Republic’s Ryan Tedder Tells About Being Close To Berlin’s Attack, Explains Band Donation

The American Pop Rock band "One Republic" donated 100.000$ to the victims of Berlin local market attack. After the lead vocal Ryan Tedder shared that they were in the same place just the day before that happens. The band decided to donate to charity through his own foundation "Good Life" to Weisser Ring (Germany NPO).

Ryan Tedder says ""We were in the Christmas market just the night before." according to Rolling Stone. The band felt deeply the loss of the victims and encourage the public to donate as well for the workers and families who suffered the event.

On Monday evening of December 19 a truck turn over in an outdoor Christmas market in Berlin killing twelve people and injuring 48. Still the authorities are looking the responsible for the event, claiming is about a terrorist attack.

One Republic members mentioned "Weisser Ring" a Non Profit Organization to make donations closely to the victims. This NPO provides attentions directly to the victims in local matters, relates RTE.ie News, about the tweets sent by the bad on December 22.

The band keeps calling for support for this group of people that suffered, alleging is important to guarantee the donation to the Germany biggest improve group to help crime victims.

 Tedder's also says, "We are hoping those budget can lend a hand rebuild the lives of the ones suffering from the Berlin assault and inspire everybody to lend a hand whatsoever they may be able to" indicates Musiqcafe News about the band statements.

German authorities last communication pointed a principal suspect named Anis Armi. A 24 Tunisian men undocumented and involve with several assaults.  The Officers found at the scene his fingerprint inside the truck so the case still running.

It is evident that "One Republic" band members felt very touched by this matter and hopefully more artist and organization will join to this cause as well.
