'Sony Music´ Apologizes After 'Britney Spears is Dead' Tweet Through Hacked Account

Sony Music Twitter account was hacked a few days ago one more time.  Several fake tweets were sent by the company's official site alleging Britney Spears died. The news goes viral since Monday. 

The company removed immediately all the tweets published, indicating that the official account had been "compromised" and to rectify the mistake, representatives pointed the hackers attempt to manipulate platform information.

On December 26 Sony Music actually sent separate tweets about the sorry loss. Starting with:  RIP @britneyspears #RIPBritney 1981-2016, so "Britney spears is dead by accident! We will tell you more soon #RIPBritney."  After this, the pop singer manager "Adam Leber" jumped in saying that Britney was "fine and well". The singer didn't make any public announcement or comments from the official Britney Spears twitter account about the occurred to fans.

This time the pop singer Twitter account was not hacked but Bob Dylan's was. The songwriter apparently tweeted the same day: "Rest in peace @britneyspears" at the moment Sony Music wrote the fake tweet.

Sony Music's social media platforms have certain vulnerability in security access.  Not the first time it happens. Hollywood information is a must to manipulate by the perpetrators.

The hacker group "OurMine" took responsibility of the act. Several hackers groups are involve in most notice Hollywood scandals, relates USA Today. An organization that call themselves "The Guardian of Peace" use twitter infiltration to act in behave of others, even to make political statements.

These hackers according to BBC News also were able to get through the official Twitter account of Netflix US and Marvel Entertainment. These groups are into Entertainment and Hollywood information.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Google entrepreneur Sundar Pichai twitter accounts could be forced to gain access by these unknown organizations of hackers as well.

More events in Hollywood, you name it. Sony Music is one of many cases. These group revealed private information between producers and chief Executives in Hollywood. The movie Bond is an example when the original script was leaked to a public site.

Hopefully this cyberattacks end soon to avoid fake information running through the network so the fans could feel less concern about the stars well-being when reading fake material.

The case of Britney Spears is one of many rumors caused by hacked social media accounts. On this occasion probably most fans will not took seriously or easily the veracity of this sort of information later on.
