A subsidiary of Warner Brothers and pioneers on many historic TV and film creations, DC comics has announced to launch a new TV series. Goeff Johns, the chief executive officer and president of DC Comics revealed from his twitter account that they are going to start a brand new TV series in 2017.

DC Comics have the credit of many famous and historic TV Series and films like iZombie, Super Girl, Flash, Legends of tomorrow, Arrow, Gotham and preacher. Johns also mentioned five events that DC Comics will introduce but did not specifically mention the details and statistics in his tweet.

According to Yahoo, there are many new shows, cartoon programs and series under development by DC Comics and Johns might be mentioning them. The news is that all the new arrivals are brand new in terms of character, script and stories.

Named after their spectacular cartoon series "Detective Comics" which later became a brand for the company, DC Comics has emerged as trend setter in the world of film and drama making since the last decade.

DC Comics lovers now wait for the new innovation in movie making and they trust in DC Comics. There are eight ongoing different action shows on air on different channels and media, reports international business times.

According to some predictions, "Black Lightening" could be the best guess for the mystery announcement. Another view predicts it as "Teen Titans" as their expected TV show which has remained under the consideration of DC Comics and a lot of homework was done for it.

Earlier in July last year, Comic Book Resource was informed by co-publisher of the DC Comics Mr. Jim Lee and Dan DiDio that "Rebirth" is planned to last for two years. As per the Johns's announcement in San Diego that Rebirth would be his last book for some time at least. However, it is expected that the excitement will end soon with a bang of brand new series from DC Comics.
