'Star Wars' gamers offer a special tribute to the late Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher

The sad demise of Carrie Fisher left her fans shocked and aggrieved. Starring as Princess Leia in the legendary Star Wars series, Carrie earned real fame and respect worldwide. Carrie Fisher died of a heart attack 27th of December 2016 at the age of 60. The video game "Star Wars" introduced Carrie to the new generation.

The Star Wars debuted in 1977 directed by George Lucas followed by many sequels like the empire strikes back. Star Wars introduced future to the transistor age of early 70s with showing the space technology at in the hands of planet inhabitants. Carrie fisher were also a part of later sequels of Star Wars like Star Wars episode IV in 1983, the empire strikes back in 1980, when harry met Sally 1989.

In a later age, Carry Fisher actively pursued her showbiz carrier. With the commercial production of Star War games in early 90 by Star Wars Franchise, the movie went into background and the characters of the Star Wars debuted in gaming platforms. Since then, almost all the episodes of Star Wars have been introduced to the gaming world.

The gaming community condoled the demise of Carrie Fisher and gathered on the cyber space to offer memorial service in the honor of their beloved heroin. The gaming community of Star Wars gathered virtually on the gam's servers, reports MTV.

According Mashable, the most impressive celebrations took place in the old republic where, a multiplayer role playing game of the Star Wars universe.

The memorial party turned into a dance party and the participants started dancing, cheering and waving in the cyber space.

To commemorate Carrie Fisher, gamming community of the latest Star War game "Battlefront" has demanded that the game developing studio DICE release a new version of Princess Leia.
