Google's Daydream and Tango first came together last year when they contributed towards the launch of the first Tango-enabled smartphone - the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. It appears like the history is going to repeat itself as the companies are reportedly working on another device but this time with ASUS.

The speculated smartphone named ASUS ZenFone AR has been confirmed by Qualcomm to launch soon. Qualcomm accidentally leaked pictures of what looks like a new smartphone from the side of ASUS. The smartphone called ASUS Zenfone AR is reportedly the first Tango smartphone with Snapdragon 821.

As reported by The Verge, The ZenFone AR with Snapdragon 821 is built for VR. The phone has high-resolution display, ultra-smooth graphics and high-fidelity sensors for precise head tracking. The Smartphone has Snapdragon 821 which gives the cutting-edge visual, audio and interactive technologies. These ultimate specs make the device a real flagship killer.

The smartphone was reportedly leaked by @evleaks. According to the visible information showcased by the leaked images, the camera array appears smaller in comparison to Lenovo's Tango smartphone. No other information regarding the smartphone has been shared yet.

A report by CNET speculates the upcoming Zenfone AR to be a blueprint to exploring where Android's next-generation devices will proceed next. The ZenFone AR will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and be shipped with Google Daydream. It will be the first smartphone to combine Tango and Daydream together.  We will probably have to wait for more updates regarding the launch.

At CES 2017, ASUS announced the ZenFone AR, the world's first Tango-enabled smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.  It will also be the world's first mobile device to be both Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready. Tango is a set of sensors and computer vision software that supports smartphone augmented reality experiences. Daydream is Google's platform for high quality, mobile virtual reality," the ASUS press release read.
