It has been announced that Beyonce, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar will be the headliners for this year's Coachella festival.

As reported by The Guardian, the 18th annual event will take place over two consecutive weekends at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 14-16 and 21-23. Beyonce and Lamar have both made special in the annual festival in previous years while it will be the third time Radiohead headlined the said festival - the first one in 2004 and the next in 2012.

Since its founding in 1999, Beyonce is the only female headliner after Bjork, who played the festival in 2002 and 2007. Radiohead was also confirmed to be a headliner in this year's Glastonbury music festival, including Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Lady Gaga and Depeche Mode. Last year, we saw Calvin Harris, LCD Soundsystem and Guns 'n' Roses headline Coachella festival with notable tributes to Prince.

The full lineup also included appearance from Lorde, Bon Iver, Gucci Mane, Mac Miller, Father John Misty, Justice, New Order, Travis Scott, the Avalanches, Future Islands, Two Door Cinemaa Club, Porter Robinson, Empire of the Sun, Schoolboy Q, and DJ Khaled.

An unexpected addition to the lineup is Hans Zimmer - the Oscar winning composer for Best Original Score for the 1994 animated movie "The Lion King". He has also written scored for many major film blockbusters, including The Dark Knight, Inception, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Coachella founder and Goldenvoice President Paul Tollett said he doesn't like to have big reunion acts every year because people will begin to count on them. Despite all the wishful thinking about a possible Oasis appearance, there is no big reunion act scheduled for the 2017 festival, as reported by The Desert Sun.

Tickets will be priced at $399 for general admission and $899 for VIP passes which is now available for purchasing.
