It wasn't too long ago that singer Demi Lovato and UFC fighter Luke Rockhold came out with their relationship that the two have called it quits. According to a report by TMZ, the duo have been keeping it low key after they met at an MMA gym last summer in Los Angeles and only came out publicly last November.

Reports cited that the couple began dating in August 2016, months after the singer split up with her beau for six years, NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama. After their break up, Lovato spoke about the need to let go of her past and start afresh with someone else.

"I think it's healthy to be able to start over with someone else. Being sick was always a part of my relationship with him; I always had something wrong with me. I needed to let go of that. It was hard to depart from somebody who saw everything, but it may be nice to start fresh with somebody. Because that person I was when I was a lot younger is not who I am today," she said, referring to her battles with substance abuse and mental health.

It seems though as though Lovato is not wasting time wallowing after her split as she was recently spotted hanging out with another MMA fighter.

The singer reportedly welcomed the new year in the company of Bellator fighter Guilherme 'Bomba' Vasconcelos, a welterweight who holds an 8-3 professional win-loss record. The two reportedly spent New Year's Eve together and saw a movie on New Year's Day, reported TMZ.

MMA Weekly did a different take on the news and sized up the two fighters against each other based on fighting skills. The report said they would be pretty evenly matched but Bomba would have the advantage when it comes to kickboxing. No reports have so far confirmed when Rockhold and Lovato split up.
