Heather Locklear to make life-changing resolutions

There are many Hollywood celebrities who are known for their addiction habits and some has successfully overcome the addiction problems. American actress Heather Locklear most famously known for starring in Melrose Place has just returned to rehab. The 55-year-old star continues to battle personal battles as she struggles to give her up addiction to drugs.

The Melrose Place actress confirmed in a statement to Yahoo Celebrity on Tuesday that she is working towards chalking out certain life-changing resolutions. "I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on typing up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead."

Heather Locklear first gained immense popularity when she starred in the 80's all time favourite, T.J Hooker and Dynasty. She has long battled numerous addiction issues - the first one was reported in January 2012 when she was hospitalised after a 911 call was placed by her sister. Locklear was found at her home.

The American actress reportedly ingested a mixture of drugs and alcohol. Going back in 2010 when she spent almost 30 days in an in-patient program after being involved in a misdemeanour hit and run case in California. There was another report in 2008 wherein she was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs in Santa Barbara. 

Locklear, ex-wife to Richie Sambora (the former Bon Jovi member) is mother to 19-year-old Ava Sambora. The actress has been linked to the famous plastic surgeon Dr. Marc Mani as well. Radar Online reported the 55-year-old American actress to check into rehab after she suffered a major breakdown over holidays. "When she came in, she was drunk and on pills, crying and screaming." The fans of Heather Locklear also hoping to see her recover from addiction habits.
