American music icon Bo Bice, 41, went to Facebook and expressed his concerns over a racial comment from a Popeye employee at Atlanta Airport last December 30. According to him, the employee called him a white boy in an insulting tone while his colleagues and people standing around laughed at him. Immediately, his complaint went viral.

Hollywoodlife reported that while talking to a news channel, Bo was quoted as saying that he was emotional enough to bring the racist incident to social media. According to details, when the music idol gave an order at the fast food chain "Popeye", a female worker called his name as with her co-workers "Bao-Bao Boo-Boo, Bo-bo" and started laughing. It hasn't stopped there. When the woman called his order again, she called him "Bo Bo".

Shortly, his post got 800 likes, 350 shares and 250 comments only in 27 hours. But his post was removed by Facebook. After that, he went on Twitter and post the racist incident. Bo threatened to serve a notice to Popeye if they don't seek an apology from him. He also lodged a complaint against Facebook on the removal of his post and inquired on what standard he violated.

NYDailynews quoted Bo Bice as saying that an African American worker named Shawana taunted five minutes on his name. African Americans declare themselves as the victims of industrialized racism and injustice throughout the country. In many states in the US, there have been extreme protests against the killings of black men by police. The protest turned violent and many people lost their lives.

Due to growing intolerance and hatred in the American society, racism and racism-related incidents increased. The situation may be chronic if a comprehensive awareness is not established.
