Fans are ready to sell out tickets to the 2017 Governor's Ball which is expected to draw as many as 50,000 music lovers per day if last year's record will set the bar.

This year's event, which will be organized by Live Nation, which acquired a major stake in the event's parent company, Founders.

This year's event will be topbilled by the rock band Tool, which recently concluded their US tour last October. Aside from their unique sound, the band is best known for its unorthodox performance style and stage setting which make them unique from other artists, The Hollywood Reporter posted.

It will be the first for the band to perform in New York City in 11 years which got fans even more excited. Chance the Rapper will also be one of the headliners. He was recently in the news for joining the board of trustees of Chicago's DuSable Museum of African American History.

Breakout artist Lorde will also be among the headliners. Aside from the Governor's Ball, the Kiwi artist will also be one of the performers in the Coachella 2017 music festival, her first appearance there as a performer since 2014.

Other artists to join the line up are Flume, Wu-Tang Clan, Wiz Khalifa, Cage the Elephant, Rae Sremmurd, Logic, Marshmello, Beach House, Local Natives with many other performers who are set to set the stage on fire.

It can be recalled that last year, the last day of the event was cancelled due to bad weather conditions, something that fans and organizers alike are excited to make up for.

This year's event will happen at Randalls Park, New York from Friday, Friday, June 2nd - Sunday, June 4th 2017 starting from 11:45 am - 11:00 pm everyday.
