Melissa Gilbert Red At Wedding With Timothy Busfield At San Ysidro Ranch In California [PHOTO]

Melissa Gilbert decided to get married to Timothy Busfield in a strapless red dress at San Ysidro Ranch in California on Wednesday.

Busfield, on the other hand, wore a classic dark suit with a flower pinned to his lapel.

Despite their very different choices in attire, the couple seemed to compliment one another quite well.
Gilbert's scarlet gown complimented her flowing red hair and the bouquet that she held share matched aspects of her attire as well as the groom's.

"Wedding dresses no longer have to be white," Harmony Walton, founder of The Bridal Bar, told OMG! from Yahoo.  In fact, bright blush and bold colors for a wedding are actually very 'in' right now.

The couple got engaged over the holidays and each of them has been married twice before, according to OMG!.

International Design Times suggests that the very untraditional dress choice probably had something to do with the fact that this is not their first wedding.

The San Ysidro Ranch location is actually quiet famous as several Hollywood A-list couples have had their wedding affairs there in the past, according to Daily Mail.

"The ranch-style hotel -- which is known for guarding the privacy of guests -- overlooks the Santa Ynez Mountains and is a popular spot for famous couples -- from Jackie and John F. Kennedy, who honeymooned there, to Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman, who hosted their rehearsal dinner there last year," reports OMG!.

It is a nice picturesque location that is best suited for more intimate ceremonies.

Gilbert is 48 while Busfield is 55 and they have five children between the two of them.
