Jessica Alba, 31, wowed fans with her ability to maintain her slim figure after giving birth to two babies.

In a recent interview she shared her secrets behind how she was able to remain slim and sexy after pregnancy.

"I wore a double corset day and night for three months," she told Net-A-Porter magazine.  "Its sweaty but worth it."

According to OMG! from Yahoo, Alba was recently seen sporting blue two piece bikini during a Caribbean retreat she took with her husband, Cash Warren, and her figure is still quite 'enviable.'

However, Alba also informed Net-A-Porter, "it was brutal; it's not for everyone."'

Alba is not the only start to have used corsets in order maintain a slim figure, according to ABC News.  Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney Kardashian and Jennifer Garner have also been rumored to have sported the tight-fitting tops after delivering their children.

Brooke Burke-Charvet, 41-year-old co-host of "Dancing with the Stars" and a mother of four, created her own version of the corset, ABC reports.  The"Tauts" post-pregnancy wrap, "supports that baggy baby skin.  It helps you with water retention and it just makes you feel like you have some support around your belly because everything is changing.  Everything is stretched out," she told ABC.

"The concept behind abdominal binders is very common after surgery and after the delivery of a baby to help support abdominal muscles, help with posture and reduce the feeling of bloating," said Dr. Jennifer Ashton, senior medical contributor for ABC News.  "Imagine taking a big breath and never fully exhaling, that's basically the feeling the person has for hours."

Alba says that despite the difficulty of reclaiming her slim figure, having children has definitely helped her to grow in her acting career.  "My approach to acting now is different - I'm fearless because I have nothing to lose.  Before, my identity was wrapped up in every decision. Now, I don't care. It could be a pile of s**t and you could think it was the worst thing you ever saw, but I still had the best experience," she told Net-A-Porter.

Alba also revealed in the interview that she loves the experiences that she is able to have through her acting career, which began when the she was only 12-years-old.  "I just finished the best movie I've ever done," she says of her role as Nancy Callahan in the Sin City sequel, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For."

Alba is also the founder of The Honest Company, which is an eco-friendly enterprise that offers non-toxic household cleaners and baby products, according to ABC News.
