Reel co-stars and reality couple Tarek and Christina El Moussa are supposed to get divorced after the duo announced their split through a joint media statement. Even though, they will continue to film their reality show.

That's got to be uncomfortable after their dramatic divorce scene. But the couple is planning to keep their kids as their main priority.

The couple, wed in 2009, has two kids, daughter Taylor, 6 and son Braydon, 1. According to daily mail, UK, their children are the main source for them to keep the normalcy of their divorce woes. Recently, they also started filming the new episodes of Season 7, which will go on for another six to seven months. The shooting will start in 2017. However, the series will end after that.

It was Tarek who filed for divorce from his wife also requesting her spousal support and a joint custody for their children. According to some sources, Tarek cited irreconcilable as the reason for taking the path of divorce.

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, it was found, that they had issues like a normal married couple but infidelity played no role. But since the last six months, there were unfortunate misunderstanding which resulted in their separation. It was found out later, that they have been living separately for months and has already started dating other people. Christina is reportedly involved romantically with a contracted named Gary Anderson who worked for her in the past.

Even though they are willing to get separated they still want to continue filming their HGTV series. On being asked the reason behind it, the answer was their commitment to their kids for which they are willing to do anything.

But to be utterly honest, they are probably working together for their paycheck. But "willing to do anything for their kids" always catch golden points.

It wouldn't be surprising if Flip or Flop get better rating views after this news.
