Kyle Korver was recently drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers from Atalanta Hawks. He recently had his Cleveland debut on the game against Utah Jazz. But Gordon Hayward's performance has overshadowed Korver's Cleveland debut through his winning performance that led Utah Jazz into victory with 8 point lead and 100-92 score in favor of Jazz.

Hayward went head to head with LeBron James throughout the game with consistently high performance. Hayward scored 28 points in this game. Jazz coach Quin Snyder is very happy with Howard's performance. "That's the next level that he found tonight, understanding how to attack a defense. Not just how to attack one guy." Snyder said.

Kyle Korver was put into the game 2 minutes before the first quarter ends. It is notable that he is adjusting to his new team and trying to be more motion oriented. His off-ball movement that confused enemy defenses and helps Cavs get more spacing for an offensive lift. We may see Korver and James working together more in the future to get a more effective offensive strategy for the Cavs. Overall Korver recorded two points and three rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench.

As reported by USAToday, the Jazz led 56-41 at halftime after closing the second quarter on a 10-0 run highlighted by Hayward's alley-oop and 3-pointers from George Hill and Rodney Hood. Utah dominated the second quarter 27-12 while shooting 50 percent in the first half. Cleveland's 12 points were a team season-low for a quarter.

Utah Jazz prioritized their half-court defense that leads them to this victory. With one of the best defenses in the NBA right now, this gave the Cavs hard time putting the ball inside the basket. But Cav's lost isn't entirely caused by Jazz's strict defenses. Cavs put on an aggressive show was proved to be ineffective against a defense oriented enemy. Their shots are predicted, as well as their passes deflected. With the shooters throwing poor shots and the Jazz's defensive play, the Cavs' offense goes stagnant.
