"I went to sleep, and since that night, I wake up every morning and it's like when you break up with somebody who has really broken your heart. You wake up and for a second you're just you, and then you go, 'Oh, the person I love more than anything has just broken my heart, and I'm devastated and I'm broken and I have nothing. I'm lost", said the Like a Virgin singer to the magazine.

The Express Yourself singer recalled the time and came up with an uncomfortable truth, when she was in Donald Trump's bed for a photo-shoot and how his bed sheets were cheap and dirty. For her it is a shame to be an American, to be precise shame to be a human being after Trump getting elected as the President, she said to the Associated Press
