There has been a great hype surrounding the launch of Nintendo Switch. The demand for the console is high and it will be higher when the first wave of customers gave it a great review. But even if the players will like the product, what if you cannot buy one for yourself? Might as well pack some snacks, charge your phones and bring out a book or two because you will need those in the expected long line for the launch day.

It is possible that we might see a similar "NES Classic Mini out of Stock" scenario here, with Nintendo being known to make limited stocks of their products. And not only has the NES Classic Mini been known to have supply problems before, remember Wii? The biggest fear right now is if the curse that has been plaguing Nintendo supplies will also plague the Switch launch.

The Nintendo Preview Tour is also going to New York for the product promotion and it is said to stay there in two days. According to Tech Times, Nintendo New York has tweeted that Nintendo Switch be available for preorder starting January 13 at 9:00 AM ET. The frustrating limited amount of stocks available for pre-order is making some customers anxious and fears for yet another NES Classic Mini scenario.

Whether it is an advertising technique or just plain incompetency on the side of Nintendo, people who want to buy Nintendo products are left frustrated. It has been previously rumored that only 2 million units of the switch will be available worldwide upon its launch. This is a very low number of supplies compared to the high number of demand going on hype right now. If Nintendo cannot provide enough products, there is a chance that customers will buy a similar product which is available at the market in the moment the supply shortage will commence.

Anticipated games that are on the tide of the hype right now is another game Pokemon game called "Pokemon Stars" and another Zelda game called "The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild" which will come along with the Switch launch. Some say that "Super Mario Odyssey" will also be on the way for Switch.
