Miranda Lambert's Highway Vagabond Tour won't kickoff until January 26, but the country music superstar is taking time out for a special stop in Chicago on Tuesday, January 24 for a great cause. Fans will get to see her at Joe's Bar for the ticket price of $50.

Proceeds from the show with singer/songwriter Natalie Hemby will benefit the songstress' Women Creators Fund. This will grant scholarship for a female Belmont University student who wishes to pursue her career in the music industry.

The Women Creators Scholarship Fund

Back in 2016 Anna Vaus became the first recipient of Belmont University's scholarship fund. This gave her over $40,000 in scholarship funds for the entire academic year of 2016-2017 per Country Fancast.

Vaus said she's so honored and thankful to have been chosen to become the first recipient of Miranda Lambert's Women Creators Fund. It's not just because it's a great opportunity for herself, but because the tide is beginning to change for the young women in the music industry. She has so much hope for the women in country music because of the path Lambert and many other awesome people are fighting to pave for them.

Joe's Bar only caters attendees 21 years and older. Miranda Lambert's performance starts at 8 P.M. CT. For those who placed their ticket request earlier this week, you ought to get your notification on Thursday, January 12, according to Joe's official website.

Moving On

Lambert returned to the studio after she and ex-husband Blake Shelton called it quits in July 2015. She documented some for her song writing sessions via Instagrams that usually happened in Nashville. In February 2016, she spent one weekend making sweet music with her new beau Anderson East whom she's been dating for several months.

She was a bit apprehensive about releasing her album because she was out of the spotlight and trying to live 'a normal life' in the past months, per US Magazine. But nothing heals a broken heart like supporting a great charitable cause while making awesome music in the process.
