Series producer Ryan Murphy confirmed that Lady Gaga won't be playing the Italian designer Donatella Versace. Tabloids spread the rumors in November 2016. Murphy officially explained to Variety that the pop star will have a different role, but not as Versace's sister.

The producer simply said "No" when asked about Gaga's special role for Season 3. Murphy shared reasonable points that confirm the fake allegations. Lady Gaga is fully booked at his moment, with the year Super Bowl, later shooting for "A Star Is Born" movie remake next to Bradley Cooper and probably this year she will be on tour.

Murphy also recalled the time that spends to shoot a season like "Versace" which take an average of five months with many shooting locations. For a singer like Lady Gaga, he knew could be a little tricky.

The fact is that the "Poker Face" singer surely will have a special appearance in the near future. About this Murphy said, "But I would love to work with her on something in the future.", according to Variety.

About the third season "was never even really a discussion.", how the executive producer ended the rumor.

The next season of American Crime Story relates the murder case of Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace, when he was killed in final ninety's by a serial killer inside his own house in Florida, shares Harper's Bazaar.

Gaga's work in the series includes,"Hotel" from Season 5 and a guest starred role for Season 6 with "Roanoke", points out Billboard. For the first, she received a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a "Limited Series for the role".

This year Lady Gaga will be seen a lot on the big screen, not debuting but as an accomplished actress and hopefully casts for a TV series like AHS.
