Lil Wayne is apparently still trying to get into skateboarding. Recent pictures on his Twitter show Weezy F. Baby on his way up toward the lip of a half-pipe. (No word on whether he actually went off)

"At the top it's jus us ni55a!" he wrote.

Lil' Wayne announced plans in 2012 to leave rap for good for the world of skateboarding.

"It's kinda putting rap on the back burner, that's all. Rap's taking a backseat to skating, that's all," Wayne said in an interview with Atlanta's Hot 107.9.

"I kinda feel like I deserve that, I feel like the fans deserve a little No Wayne. I've been everywhere, man. I've been out on everybody's song, I'm still on everybody's song," Tunechi continued. "My artists are doing awesome; I believe the fans deserve some peace from me, so I'll be on my skateboard in the meantime."

Anyone with a pulse and a radio knows this didn't come to be. Wayne has since released I Am Not A Human Being II. However, he does appear to be giving skateboarding his all. His first public appearance after being hospitalized for seizures was at a pro skateboarding event in Tampa, FL.

"Got a shirt from Elissa Steamer today at Tampa Pro...gon wear dat bit€h everyday!" Wayne wrote on Twitter.
