“The Sims 4” much-awaited toddler update is now available and yes, it is free to all the players. Incidentally, almost two and a half years ago, when the game producer introduced the fourth installment of the game, players were disappointed when it did not feature the toddler.

The game allowed the players to create children, babies, teens, elders, young and adults. However, the lovable aspect of man’s life, the toddler was totally absent. It angered many fans and understandingly so because the previous “The Sims” game did have a feature that would help a user create toddler.

Gaming folks started showing their displeasure, which the studio tried to pacify by saying that it, will fulfill everyone’s desires in the years to come, vg247 reported.  Even the swimming pools were absent from the features list. However, the studio added concrete swimming holes to “The Sims 4” within two months from the release of the game.

Now it is the time that the other wish of “The Sims” players is fulfilled. According to the senior producer, Lyndsay Pearson, the users have been constantly asking for the toddler life stage and it is important that they do it in a way that makes sense when added to “The Sims 4.”  Pearson said that it is important that the players feel that it is right when they start using the new feature.

The new toddler update brings along with it hundred new animations, new suites of outfits and objects and at least dozens of new interactions, IGN reported. In the game, the toddlers will learn the various skills from other Sims such as how to dance, talk and also use the washroom.

“The Sims 4” new update will also show the interaction of the toddlers with the other characters like carrying them around the house or reading a book for them before bed and so on. Pearson stated the feature has been under works for a while and the team is proud of the hard work it has put in to create “The Sims 4” new update.
