Fifth Harmony is making a statement. And it's a statement that says they will go on just fine without their fifth member Camila Cabello after she suddenly quit the group last month to go solo.

The successful girl group, who were behind the hits "Work from Home," "That's My Girl" and "Miss Movin' On" shared a snap on Instagram as they rehearsed for their performance in the People's Choice Awards on January 18, E! News reported.

The remaining foursome, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane and Normani Kordei, looked carefree and fierce in the photo and appeared to be over their former bandmate's departure.

The Instagram snap was captioned with an equally firce message. "Back on the rehearsal grind. Lets do this," coupled with a heart emoji.

A lot has happened in the year since the girls picked up the award for People's Choice Favorite Group in 2016, and now they are set to hit the stage again for their first performance without Cabello.

It was reported that last December 18, the band announced that Cabello's reps informed them that she will be leaving the group which she has been part of for four and a half years.

Cabello debunked the statement and said that she was shocked by the statement released on the group's official website. She explained that she left the group to pursue a solo career in music but did not want to part ways with her ways in such a fashion.

The group subsequently resigned from Epic Records and Syco following the incident only to re-sign with their old label to work on their new music which is set for release this year, reported Entertainment Today .

According to sources, because Fifth Harmony has proven their mettle as marketable artists for the studio, the girls will be given more creative input when it comes to crafting their new album.

The group started their career as the LYLAS on X-Factor USA before they skyrocketed to the top as one of the most successful and influential girl groups in the music industry.ir former bandmate's departure.
