Undoubtedly it's been a rough year for Kanye West. But it's not how many times one falls, it's how many times one gets up on his feet that matters. And apparently, that's exactly what Kanye West is trying to do.

The rapper is reportedly back in the studio penning out some new lyrics for his new songs based on last year's mishaps. He kicked off 2016 with the successful release of his album. Then there's his feud with Taylor Swift that played out on social media. Then he started dissing out his friend and fellow rap star Jay Z and his wife Beyonce. Donald Trump wasn't spared from the mess either, per Tripped Media.

Kim's Traumatic Paris Incident, Kanye's Mental Breakdown

Kanye West is known for being a workaholic. He's passionate not just with his music but for his love for fashion as well, as evidenced by his Yeezy clothing line. As if that was not enough pressure, here comes Kim Kardashian's Paris incident.

She was bound and left in a bathtub while the thieves stole over $10 million worth of her jewellery. Many people still think this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't kept on posting/bragging about them on social media. Anyway, Kanye left his ongoing concert to be by his wife's side.

Come November, West finally snapped and suffered a nervous breakdown, per Mail Online. He was rushed to the hospital after he started hallucinating and was lashing out at paramedics. He had to stay at UCLA Medical Center until he could get better.

Missing Mom

Reports said that the rapstar was suffering from emotional turmoil weeks before he got hospitalized. He didn't get enough sleep and was working nonstop. But the main trigger for his alleged 'breakdown' was the death anniversary of his mom Donda back in 2017.

It's believed that West was never able to properly grieve for his mom and even blames himself for her death. She died at the age of 58 from complications following an elective surgery. She was buried on November 20 which is the same day West cancelled his L.A. forum show. The next day he cancelled the rest of his tour before being taken to the hospital.

But fans who know Kanye believes 2017 is up to a good start for the rapper. He might be up to releasing his own version of life's 'Lemonade' soon. The best he could do after life gave him all those lemons. For more Kanye West news and latest updates, keep it here on MStars News. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
