Prison Break Season 5 News: Wenthworth Miller, Sarah Wayne Weigh In On Fox 9-Episode Order

The release of "Prison Break'' Season 5 is just around the corner. But it seems that the stars all have their own opinions when it comes to continuing the series for an extended season or coming out with a fresh season. Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies, in particular, think differently about the current nine episode order for the show's revival.

According to a report by The Express, Sarah Wayne Callies who plays Dr. Sara Tancredi in the show is fine with joining the show for a nine episode conclusion but is already content with it if it is the way the show is intended to end.

"This was pitched as, 'We're gonna do nine episodes, drop the mic and walk away and I'm fine with that," she said. The actress did not however close any doors should the possibility of a sixth season come up.

Wentworth Miller, on the other hand, has been very vocal about his wish for more episodes for the series. While Season 5 was written by showrunner Paul Scheuring to close out the story, Miller has been rallying fans to believe that there will be more of the story to be told beyond Fox's nine-episode order.

"There's always room for more, in my mind. As long as it's a story that's worth telling, as long as it feels justified and cool and edgy," he said in a post by Digital Spy. One condition that he needs however, is the quality of the story that the team will have to work with so that they would not let down their loyal viewers.

For his part, Scheuring said to an Express post that the revival is basically inspired by the story of The Odyssey as it focuses on the homecoming of Michael Scofield to a wife and child he has never met. "Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to air on Fox on April 4, 2017.
